Terms of Service
These Terms govern your access to and use of the Niro software, websites, and APIs (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Niro is
Niro is a non-custodial, user-directed software tool that helps you define, risk-check, backtest, and route options and crypto-options orders to a brokerage account you connect. Niro does not take custody of your funds or securities, does not exercise discretion over your account, and does not guarantee any trading outcome.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be of legal age and capable of forming a binding contract in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
3. Connected brokerage accounts
When you connect a broker (for example, via OAuth), you authorize Niro to submit orders you direct. Your broker’s own agreements, margin rules, and risk controls continue to apply. You remain solely responsible for every order placed through your account.
4. No advice; your decisions
The Service provides tools and information, not recommendations. Strategy templates, backtests, and published results are illustrative and do not constitute a solicitation to buy or sell any security or instrument. You are responsible for your own trading decisions.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not use the Service to violate any law, exchange rule, or broker agreement.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
- Do not misrepresent the Service’s results or use it to mislead others.
6. Paper vs. live
Paper accounts are simulated and involve no real money. Live trading involves real capital and substantial risk of loss. You must explicitly authorize live trading per account, and you accept the applicable risk disclosures before doing so.
7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Niro is not liable for trading losses or for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Markets, data feeds, and broker connections can fail; you are responsible for monitoring your positions.
8. Changes & termination
We may update these Terms or the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. You may stop using the Service at any time; we may suspend access for violations of these Terms.

Niro is software for self-directed traders. It is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or custodian, and nothing here is investment, legal, or tax advice.
